Medals All Around at the 2014 FLIWC
We are pleased to announce Earle Estates Meadery, Wort Hog Cidery, and Torrey Ridge Winery were awarded medals at the 2014 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Wort Hog Cidery was awarded a double gold medal for Porky's Pleasure Cherry Hard Cider while Wort Hog Hard Cider was awarded a gold. Wort Hog Cidery also won a silver medal for Big Bertha's Hard Blueberry Cider and bronze medal for Big Jake's Spiced Hard Cider.
Earle Estates' Cruisin Cranberry was awarded a gold medal while Apple Enchantment won silver and Traditional Mead was awarded bronze. Torrey Ridge Winery's Catawba, Cayuga White, Blue Sapphire, Niagara and White Lightnin' were awarded bronze medals as well.

Wort Hog Hard Cherry Cider's Hat Trick at the 2014 IEWC
At the 2014 International Eastern Wine Competition, combined with the East Meets West Challenge. We are excited to announce that Wort Hog Porky’s Pleasure Hard Cherry Cider's crisp, refreshing cherry taste was awarded the Best Fruit Wine in the East vs West competition. Cherry Cider was awarded Best of Class and Best of Show Fruit Wine in the Eastern Division as well.

Double Gold Medals for All
We are pleased to announce Torrey Ridge Winery and Earle Estates Meadery were very successfully at the 2014 Florida State Fair International Wine and Grape Juice Competition. Double Gold medals were awarded to Torrey Ridge Winery for Catawba and Blue Sapphire while Earle Estates Meadery was awarded a Double Gold for Traditional Honey Mead.
A gold medal was awarded to Earle Estates Meadery's Blueberry Wine. Torrey Ridge Winery's Cayuga, Niagara and Riesling were awarded gold medals as well.
At the Florida State Fair International Wine Competition in Tampa. New York wines won a total of 139 medals including 17 Double Gold, 20 Gold, 56 Silver, and 46 Bronze awards

2013 Tasters Guild International Wine Competition Results
Tasters Guild International, a Wine and Food Appreciation Society based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with administrative offices in Washington D.C., has announced the results of its Twenty-Sixth Annual International Wine Judging held at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education in Grand Rapids.
Thirty experienced judges from around the country completed over 2,000 evaluations of wine from 10 countries and 27 states/provinces on May 1-4, 2013. The judging panels were comprised of a carefully selected mix of retailers, winemakers, wine writers, restaurateurs, wine educators and experienced consumers.
We are pleased to announce that both Torrey Ridge Winery and Earle Estates Meadery were awarded medals. A Double Gold medal was awarded to Torrey Ridge's Blue Sapphire. Gold medals were awarded to Torrey Ridge's Catawba, Lucky, and Niagara wines while Diamond was awarded a silver. Earle Estates' Raspberry Reflections, Apple Enchantment, Blueberry Wine, and Strawberry Wine were awarded silver medals.
TASTERS GUILD is a society of wine and food lovers consisting of over twenty-five chapters that provide active and ongoing wine and food events. In support of these local chapters, there is an extensive network of retail wine/specialty food shops, restaurants, hotels, wineries, importers and distributors who provide easy access to quality wines and food for Tasters Guild members.

We are pleased to announce both Earle Estates Meadery and Torrey Ridge Winery were awarded medals at the 2013 Riverside International Wine Competition. Earle Estates Raspberry Reflection was awarded Gold Medal, Best of Class while Blueberry Wine and Apple Enchantment were awarded Bronze Medals. Torrey Ridge Winery's Catawba and Niagara were awarded Gold Medals, Best of Class while Diamond was awarded a Bronze.
For 30 years, the Riverside International Wine Competition has provided consumers and the wine industry with carefully considered results of a blind tasting by professional wine evaluators. A key benefit of this event is to recognize wines in a wide variety of styles, including wine regions that don't often get such recognition. These wines area a great example of its varietal and its producer.
